On the other hand, I have to miss karate classes and physics class, and this week we were talking about light and sound, which is INTERESTING. Bummer. >.> Ah, well. A necessary trade-off.
In other news, I'm getting madder and madder at my history textbook. "They found a skull that looks something like a modern chimpanzee but is a few million years old. It's believed to be the earliest known ancestor of modern humans." Uh...COULDN'T IT JUST BE A CHIMPANZEE, PEOPLE? >.<
But hey, I didn't know the evolutionary theory of the origin of humanity as well as I should've. So I'm learning something, at least...
Last night was the first-ever Plotting Party; Jamie and I worked on my stories about a place called Mirkal and the people who travel back and forth from there to our world. I had only a very few ideas of where the stories were going before we plotted last night, and now I have so many epic ideas I don't know WHERE to begin. Do I finish my current novel, Listed, or work on the prequels to it so I know exactly where I want Listed to end up? Or do I just plot the back-story and continue to write Listed as I do so? Or should I work on both at the same time? (They'll probably never get done that way, but at least I'll feel like I'm writing SOMETHING...)
I'm also trying to become accustomed to journaling. I'm writing in my journal a lot more than I used to (especially since my newest one has a leather cover and feels like something out of a book), but I'm still not writing as much as I should. So tonight's goal is to write at least a page-long entry, chronicling the past few days.
And I also want a new microphone, because I'm FINALLY starting to record music. But my microphone causes these annoying clicking noises...here, see what I mean?
Anyway, I must go check to see if my karate uniform is dry; if it isn't, I can't go to my Instructor Training class tonight. Ah, well, I won't miss much. It's the first day, and all I'd probably find out is how to teach the classes I won't be in this week, as well as what level I'm at in the program. At the last official check, I was at Level 2 in the kids' program, but since then I've been moved to the adults' program, so I have no idea what level I'm at once again. And I'm too scared to ask, so....
More to come later, if I think of anything to write about :)
Can someone record the lecture for you? =D
ReplyDelete>_> Wow. Taking a class from a Christian School and learning evolutionary theory. That's just /sad/. T_T
Maybe we can discuss that at our next Plotting Party! =D Personally, I feel most comfortable writing a series in the order I want it to be read once completed, but that may just be me. xD And it's not like I have a plethora of experience. v_v
Oh yes, the kind of journal one has can sometimes make a difference! =D
x) I'm proud of you. =D
D= Ze video... no workey...
Oh, you will think of things to write about. ;D
... Or else. V_V
Well, it's not so much a lecture as it is practice problems, so I won't be missing /too/ much v_v
ReplyDeleteExactly T_T
Yeah! That's a good point (re. the writing order, not experience) xD
It really can!
^_^
I'm working on fixing the video...I'll probably have to upload it to YouTube to get it to work xP
^_^
O.O Should I be scared?...
Ah, it is well. V_V
ReplyDeleteT_T
xD ;D
=D
It works now! ;D I like the music. x) Though you're right about the microphone. =P
Indeed, scared you should be. V_V
